SRAA newsletter
September is the first meeting of our official calendar year with our first workshop.  We have continued to meet during the summer but no official workshops.  Our first workshop will feature Heather Mitchell and she will be demonstrating and instructing on drawing a realistic eye!  She recommends that we bring colored pencils, smooth paper and a pencil sharpener. 
We will be meeting September 24, 2011 at Building 4900 at PSC Milton Campus/University of West Florida in room 4902.  The meeting starts at 9:00 and the workshop will start at 10:30.  If you want to bring someone who is not a member of SRAA to this, that would be fine but there is a fee of $10.00.  Visitors are welcome and if you need more information, call Paula Knauber: 850-995-9717 or Darlene Samuel:  850-994-4070.
It is time for artists to support the Art Association.  We need to continue to be a presence in our community. 
We want to make SRAA stronger than ever.  It will take each of us.  Invite a friend to our workshops and our meeting.  Talk about the SRAA among your artist friends, tell them about our workshops, Art Fest and the good times we have.  Share our group.  Don’t keep it a secret!   Be sure to check out our web site! http://santarosaartassociation.com
I will continue to send a newsletter near the first part of each month and also to send out art opportunities such as workshops with other groups, upcoming shows and any art related information.  Please let me know of anything that you feel may the group can benefit from knowing and let me know if there are concerns or questions.  We, the board, will do our best to address them and answer them.
