November Minutes:

On Nov.26 meeting was called to order by Darlene Samuel.  Vicki Ford took the minutes as several members were absent because of the holiday.
Minute correction: Chris Bevans and Patti Underwood  names were misspelled.
Our newest member, Linda Linzy, does jewelry and mixed media.
Treasurer report:
Beginning $3837; deposit $262;  spent $75 guest artist

Patti Underwood made the motion and Evelyn Gardner seconded to accept minutes after corrections and Treasure reports.
Correspondence: Santa Rosa Medical Center's Tree of Lights and 2 teacher’s grant applications.
Publicity: Linda Wicker is putting minutes and newsletter on website.
ArtFest: Paula Knauber will be the new chairperson.
Sunshine: Cards will be sent to Bea Hummel.
Please let Patti Know who needs a card to let them know we care.
New business: December challenge is a snow person or snow related. Bring to Christmas Party.
Altered book class in Jan. Get 5x7 0r 8x10 no older than the 1960's start looking for books to alter
Teacher grant Committee:  2 members out of town:
$1056.20 Available for teacher grants. Problems with mailing thus only 2 applications met the deadline, discussion over extending the deadline; motion was to extend but did not pass. Deadline is closed.
Christmas Party: Dec.17 5pm at Patti Underwood's home. Bring finger foods. Bring a wrapped that you have created and one for each participating spouse to play in gift exchange.
Show and Tell: Paula Ernst: hexagon square turtle quilt, Lorraine Cathey:  books w/polymer buttons and fabric leather for cover, Betty Gullickson: painting, Chris Bevans: 2 paintings, Angie Leckie: painting, Steve Ford:  collage/photography, Vicki: drawing, Patrick Davey: birdhouse, Phyllis Ryan: pen and watercolor Susan Davey: decoupaged tray, Program: Lorraine's mother, Ruth Goldsborough: noted artist presented our program.
